In the wake of his recent outing on Houndstooth as well record on Dixon Avenue Basement Jams and Clone Jack For Daze, the London born Berlin based producer does what he does best for his AUS debut and lines up three rapturous jams packed with Disco loops and tough analogue drum work all suffused a signature degree of grit. The title track filters into focus as truncated and funky loops are set tumbling one after another propelled by ripe, punchy drums before ‘A Very Deep Groove’ then follows up with syncopated rhythms laying the groundwork for a rich, hypnotic mood. ‘Free Of Sin’ then finishes things up and sees Marquis building steadily blooming tension through sparse sampling and naturally sequenced drum tracks that close the doors on a stellar 2015 for AUS.
