For the label’s inaugural edition, it enlists the incredible production talent of NY underground luminaries, Marcos Cabral and Eli Escobar – both regular mainstays at subMercer. A respected veteran of NYC’s dance scene, Marcos Cabral, is also widely known for his duo, Runaway, and its record label, On The Prowl, as well as for his vast connections with distinguished record labels across the globe. A native New Yorker, Eli Escobar, has steadily built a name for himself over the years as one of the city’s most well-versed and dexterous turntablists. With his impressive catalogue of song production and remixes for famous artists, he has duly earned his title as “NY’s Finest.” In keeping with the recent resurgence and evolution of deep house, both artists have laced their voluptuous beats with the sensual female vocals of Lindsay Mound and another beloved subMercer DJ resident, Lindsey Caldwell. The result is an irresistible affair – the kind of seduction that could only go down in a hotel.
