This is the second 7” in a series of 4 featuring tracks taken from the forthcoming Producer 2 album set for releasein the Autumn. Producer 2 features a collection of new and resurfaced tracks focusing on the world’s finest and most invigorating beat makers. The compilation brings together all the most exciting elements around today from Hip Hop, electronica and beyond in the post - Dilla generation. Featured artists include Dabrye, Mike Slott, Carlos Nino. Daedelus, Illum Sphere, Andy Votel, Ras G & Low Limit, Mr Dibiase. This 7” features San Fran based Low Limit, one half of Lazer Sword. They describe their sound as “your favourite top 40 rap shit chooped up into a tronado filled with razor blades and molasses or Frank Zappa rocking the home made Lil John tank top at the rooftop party”. We feel this pretty much sums up “Inspirational Jumpsuit” .Lazer Sword recently toured europe and were featured on Mary-Anne Hobbs Radio 1 show. Mr Dibiase is an old head from L.A beat scene whos been doing his thing for over 10 years. Hes opened shows for MF Doom, GZA and J Zone and collaborates with the likes of Ras G and Flying Lotus. His productions run from 8 bit classics to seductive soul to raw grungy bangers. “May The Force” falls into the latter of these styles and is an extra heavy, deeply compressed club rocker which switches between a chop up of the Star Wars ( Death Star ) OST and a lofi rendition of the same piece.
