As 2009 draws to a close Freak ‘n Chic can look back at yet another superb year of output, with Dan Ghenacia, Anthony Collins, Dyed Soundorom and many others all continuing the labels excellent reputation. The time for reminiscing, however, is not now as the Parisian imprint has one last trick up its sleeve in LoSoul feat. Fadila “Time Passes EP”, backed with a remix from the aforementioned Soundorom. With releases on venerable institutions such as Classic, Playhouse and Moodmusic, Peter Kremeier’s LoSoul project needs little introduction but for the uninitiated his sound can be summed up as an off-kilter, original take on house. “Time Passes” featuring the vocal talents of Fadila is typical to the wonky LoSoul interpretation of house, too..
