Aux-Rec is back for its fourth project, following the ‘Baker Man’ edit by Soul Clap (so good it became an official remix on Laid Back’s label), first class remixes by Franco Cinelli and the ‘Caught Up’ bootleg by Le Loup & Funkalicious James aka Childhood ‘87. We are feverish to bring you today two new bomb bootlegs by Argentine top producers Leonel Castillo and Lexdinamo. Those in the know have been familiar with these names for over ten years now and know how rare their productions are. As a matter of fact, this is probably the first time you will be able to get your hands on such bootleg productions from these two cats. Leonel Castillo’s signature shuffly blend is unmistakably recognizable on this A-side, on which he pays his tribute to one of the most emotional Soul masterpieces by The Dells, the ‘74 released ‘I Wish It Was Me You Loved’, bringing it into full dancefloor effect. Lexdinamo does what noone did before, jumbling even further one of Bobby McFerrin’s most genius vocal medleys, ‘Drive’. Avid bootleg followers may have previously heard this version, but we just can’t get enough of it! Coming up! More works by Aux-Rec regulars Franco Cinelli, Leonel Castillo and Soul Clap! Stay booted!
