Modugroove is a new record label by Lee Renacre from 100Hz. Started in 1989, their first release Low Frequency Overload with Optimism Records entered the national music charts. Lee then started a record label called Format Records with great tracks and reviews. Lee has released with various classic record labels of the 1990's including Pacific Records, Oblong, Rehab and Eukahouse. He was included as one of several London artists who were considered to have started the Tech-House scene according to Mixmag September 1997. Recently 100Hz have been releasing music with Bosconi, Imprints, Hi Phen and Logistic Records. Modugroove aims to release future classic music with new and known artists with a passion for the extraordinary. The first release is called Modulation and is a showcase of the wonderful world of analogue modulating synthesis. Stealthy and deep these tracks include a new collaboration group called Junction Chaos who improvise new music.
