Taste the summer with this : ‘South Aphrika’ from Lee Curtiss is immaculate and succinctly delicious. Wolf + Lamb has followed Lee’s rise to underground cult status over the past year and pre-empt new material from him signed to Spectral, Get Physical and the new Cityfox label out later this year. Gadi’s ‘I’ll Set Your House’ and Zev’s ‘This Feeling’ are both uniquely the style and feel of each artist respectively, and an opportunity to experience them apart for the rst time on the label. Gadi Mizrahi has forthcoming material on Spectral and Hallucination Ltd. Nicolas Jaar is a fellow New Yorker whose rst EP, ‘The Student’ was released on Wolf + Lamb last year. Bringing fresh, traditionally and educated music to the Wolf + Lamb label, his tracks have been played by a wide cross section of artists. 2009 has brought him onto Circus Company for an upcoming compilation and he’s launched his own label Clown and Sunset. Digital only releases come from Le Loup and Slow Hands. Léonard Perret is Le Loup (The Wolf), a 21 year old Parisian whose debut EP, ‘See Line’, was released on Wolf + Lamb and has been one of their best selling releases to date. Le Loup rounds out the Wolf + Lamb sound with a unique, gritty and often arhythmical sound. Le Loup’s productions are a true melting pot of jazz and house classics, and a pronounced inclination for Detroit and NYC vibes. Slow Hands (a.k.a Ryan Cavanagh) hails from small town Manchester. Having spent much of his life playing jazz and classical guitar, he ventured away from the structured curriculum of music school, inspired by the sounds of electronic music. Arriving in New York City, Ryan worked on collaborative productions under the group name Worst Friends, put out an EP on Moodgadget in early 2008 and remixed for Jack Johnson, Detektivrån and more. Ryan joins Wolf + Lamb as Slow Hands and completes a package of delightful Signicant Others.
