My First Moth are back with veteran producer KRS-Jon aka Jon Kennedy (of Tru-Thoughts / Grand Central / Organik Recordings) taking on label main-man DJ Mischief for a double header of hip-hop reworks...Jon has been a fan of My First Moth Records since day one, and on the strength of their first few 7's approached the label about doing a release. Understandably, MFM jumped at the chance, and the result is his sick refix of the Lords of the Underground anthem "Tic-Toc", backed with DJ Mischief's take on The Beastie Boys' "Intergalactic". Jon's production is as tight as ever, with upright bass and neck-snapping drums creating a mid-tempo dancefloor heater for the New Jersey MCs to shine over.
