***LIMITED GREEN VINYL REPRESS***
All-conquering Dutch electronic heroes Kraak & Smaak have taken the dance world by storm in recent years with a slew of killer collaborations with the like of Ben Westbeech, Romanthony (RIP), Mayer Hawthorne, Parcels and many more sealing their international pedigree. Their live show has seen them play every festival and club worth the mention from Glastonbury to Detroit Movement, Coachella to Space Ibiza.
After their debut album Boogie Angst established them in the spotlight and lead to heavy worldwide support the band returned with the breakthrough album Plastic People. The standout single was undoubtedly 'Squeeze Me (feat. Ben Westbeech)', a track that has become ubiquitous through TV ads, funky dancefloors and tens of millions of streams. The remix by A Skillz that they commissioned of this track pretty much kicked off the ghetto funk scene and sparking a flurry of imitators.
But the album wasn't all block rocking beats - chilled tracks like 'Enzo', the deep house of the title track and 'California Roll' made the world once again sit up and take notice of the Leiden trio. This album was the one that brought Kraak & Smaak fully to the world stage.
Plastic People has been out of press on vinyl for some time but has been repressed by Jalapeno Records on a limited edition green vinyl double LP run. Soul, funk, house and chilled electronica all melded together with classic K&S beats.
