From their home in the land of Hovis, Northern General give us their second release and presents us with another debut. Influenced heavily by Forgemasters and the Sheffield bleep sound characterised by early Warp and not interested in “a trendy polished vibe”, Kian Trebner presents us with three tracks of rude but subdued electronic music which he uses to take us on a journey which twists through the dark and the deep. Functional but listen-able.
