Kelpe makes his first outing on Don't Be Afraid as part of their coveted DBA DUBS series. Monte Verit� sees the London based beat veteran at his housiest (sic) yet. The track sports a low slung four to the floor and a deadly analogue funk bassline. Kevin Reynolds improvises on the original with a more upbeat outsider house groove and an acid line guaranteed to bring the dancefloor to its knees. Since coming to the attention of DC Recordings in early 2003 Kelpe has released three albums, the latest of which "The Golden Eagle" dropped this year to critical acclaim. Detroit's Kevin Reynolds has consistently turned heads with his unique take on the modern house sound. As well as releases on his own Nsyde Recordings he has appeared on cult US imprints like Todchai and Love What You Feel.
