They called him the man with the musical message and nowhere was the full effect of Keith Hudson’s mighty, brooding Rasta vibrations felt then in the 1978 release of “Rasta Communication”. Recorded at Randy’s, Channel One & Chalk Farm with a final tweek from Prince Jammy at King Tubby’s, the album featured a top line up of Jamaica's finest musicians including Family Man & Carlton Barrett and Sly & Robbie. All the ingredients were in place for a five-star classic, and the results did not disappoint, this early Greensleeves release saw Keith Hudson acclaimed by both the core reggae market and new wave journalists all agreeing that the life affirming "Rasta Communication" captured Keith at his creative peak. The original ten track album has been expanded for this deluxe edition into a superb 27 track release complete with a 2nd CD of full dub companions including the previously unreleased dub to "I Broke The Comb". In addition all four sides of the two classic non-album Greensleeves Keith Hudson 12” singles as well as the two rare Jamaican single mixes of "Rasta Country" and "Jonah" are making their CD debut. His revolutionary zeal caused some to brand him Reggae's John Lennon, truthfully his tragic death was of no less loss to the world of music, thankfully we can remember him this way – in RASTA COMMUNICATION!
