Junior Kelly is a major force in the world of reggae music today. He hit it big in 1999 with the single "Love So Nice". Since then, he released at least one album a year. He also collaborated with all the best dancehall artists like Capleton, Anthony B, Luciano and many others. Between 2001 and 2005, he released many hits like "Can't Get Away", "Clean Heart", "One Love" or "Jah Jah Live On" and "Rasta Should Be Deeper". From his early life as a youth in Jamaica to becoming one of the most popular reggae artists on the festival network, Junior Kelly has always fought and preached for social justice, economic equality and freedom for all in and through his songs and performances. They are filled with messages for the betterment of all people. This year's tour will be amazing in all sense. Now it is time for a new album. "Piece of the Pie" is emerged in collaboration with the Jamaican label AL.TA.FA.AN. The responsible producer is Anthony Senior. Over the years, he gained several titles along with Junior Kelly publish this now than 15 track strong album. Junior Kelly was born Keith Morgan on September 23, 1969, the youngest of five children, and grew up in the Waltham Park area of Kingston, Jamaica. Kelly was part of a musical family, both his father and grandfather played banjo, and his mother sang at their local church. Although the family was of limited means, Kelly later recalled that the family's deep love for one another kept them going through hard times. Das Album beinhaltet 15 Titel die teilweise in Europa und Jamaica aufgenommen und produziert wurden. Ein Teil der Titel wurden im legänderen Tuff Gong Studio in Kingston, Jamaica aufgenommen. "Für dieses Album haben wir uns sehr viel Zeit genommen um die Songs zu sammeln. Jeder einzelne Titel erzählt eine kleine Geschichte" erzählt uns Anthony Senior der Boss von Al.Ta.Fa.An. Records. Junior Kelly wurde am 23. September 1969 unter dem bürgerlichen Namen Keith Morgan in Kingston, Jamaika geboren. Die Familie lebte in eher ärmlichen Verhältnissen. Morgans älterer Bruder fungierte unter dem Pseudonym Jim Kelly als Deejay bei Killamanjaro, einem bekannten Soundsystem, und unterstützte die Familie finanziell. Durch seinen Bruder kam Morgan mit der Musik in Berührung. Als Keith 13 Jahre alt ist, wird sein Bruder jedoch in unmittelbarer Nähe ihres Hauses erschossen. Mitte der 80er beginnt er bei Soundsystems zu singen. Zu dieser Zeit nahm er auch den Künstlernamen „Junior Kelly“ zu Ehren seines Bruders an. Seit 1993 ist Junior Kelly solo aktiv und hat sich seitdem zu einer in der Szene durchweg bekannten Person hochgearbeitet.
