Late Night Audio first established a reputation as one of London’s best underground parties. The cream of the scene graced the turntables at various sweat soaked East End underground venues thought the years. As we continue into 2011 we’ll be building upon the success of this heritage and previous releases, which include Das Volt and Toby Tobias and remix work from Motor City Drum Ensemble and Mark-E. This year you can expect the finest in deep electronic house, Balearic boogie and Italo flavours, all expertly mastered onto luxurious vinyl with bespoke graphic artwork. LNA’s thrid release comes from ‘The Godfather of the Underground’ all the way from Brookyln, New York: namely the legendary JoVonn. Taking on many different roles in the dance scene over the last two decades, this well renowned producer and DJ has transformed and evolved the sound of the underground, giving deep music relevance in a different and constantly changing era, working across the dance music spectrum with luminaries from Kid Batchelor to Mary J Blige. Having moved on from his initial Dance label & Goldtone Records, his latest endeavors come in the form of NextMoov Records and NextMoov Traxx and are dedicated to bringing back the deep, soulful sounds of the underground. Something that permeates his latest offering, Revival. First tune A Definition of a Track makes use of driving beats combined with ethereal and jazz-like melodies that work together to create a hypnotic atmosphere. Second track Space Atmosphere has a more infectious styling, with an ever-progressive melody against a firm groove that grabs the listener and the dance floor. Also featuring remixes from the much revered Two Armadillos, Giles Smith of Secretsundaze and Martin Dawson (King Roc) have turned out a modern classic to nail any peak time dance floor.
