Fresh off the back of his debut appearance on vinyl with the 'Bruck Out/The One' 7" on Chakra Sounds, the inaugural release on PRISM comes courtesy of Jon Phonics. Jon has been making moves in a 2011 which has seen 'The One' getting plays from the likes of Kutmah and Morgan Zarate, being dropped to a packed tent at Sonar by B Bravo and appearing as the opening track on Gilles Peterson's Brownswood Bubblers 7 as well as playing alongside Lone, Om Unit, Alex Nut and more. Never one to rest on his laurels, Jon has completed the 'Grid Games' EP. This instrumental, progressive project is a nod to his more left field influences, forging elements of electronica, 2 step and in his own words 'tropical um bongo bass music'. 'Grid Games' is set for a February 2012 vinyl release featuring three original tracks, each a collaboration with a different producer, plus remixes from Kidkanevil, Ghost Mutt and Pedestrian as well as a digital release with bonus tracks.
