Limited edition double header of superb early 80s disco funk classics from Trinidadian singer Jimmy Ross. Originally released on renowned Canadian label Quality Records with musical production handled by Italian super-producers Stefano Pulga and Luciano Ninzatti, also known as Kano, both cuts were given a New York spin in the extended remixes featured here. Paradise Garage legend Larry Levan took over the helm for 'First True Love Affair' creating a swirling heavy hypnotic dancefloor bomb. Unbelievably sexy and insanely funky, this rocks the floor every time. On the flip is the long version of 'Fall into A Trance' remixed amongst others by Turntable Orchestra's Hippie Torrales who at the time was resident DJ at New Jersey's infamous Zanzibar club. Also 100% tuned to the dancefloor, this showcases Mr Ross's raw soulful vocals perfectly with a sleazy low-slung grinding funk backdrop.
