Evocative of the masters of hypnotic and soulful house (Omar S. and Theo Parrish come immediately to mind), with a dash of Chicago acid thrown in, “Incomplete EP” puts a warm, analog sound to an entirely contemporary use. The EP’s opener “Incomplete” is a driving multi-textured track showcasing Einat’s smoky, yearning vocals, while “Why Must We Go On,” is a ménage-a-deux centered around an orgiastic jazz crescendo.
