Bu-Mako Recordings is the label of Underground Quality artist Jenifa Mayanja. She's also Jud-Ed's wife and she makes some sick deep house. Something to set it off when two worlds collide... The self coined First Lady of Beatdown, “Lady Blacktronika” and the recently proclaimed “First Lady of Deep House” join forces to drop some heat of their own. The results are an exotic mixture of verbed out vocals, far out rhythms and dancefloor magic. The A side features Lady Blacktronika original cut “Deep Luv” where Mayanja throws an edgier caged remix while the B side features Jenifa Mayanja original “I Wanna Hold You” with roles reversed as Lady Blacktronika takes the original into a warm tech soundscape. Bu-mako recordings last record was well received with write ups describing her as a “talented US producer that builds wonderfully deep house-scapes combining dancefloor prowess with a finesse that is unmatched”. Lady Blacktronika has received a great response to her productions with recent features in RA's “Breaking Through” and her work positively reviewed in LWE and Wire magazine.
