Featuring both original productions the A side kicks off with the devilishly funky 909 Drummer. Built around its domineering yet simple bassline, the track remains stripped throughout as it teases with minimal percussive sounds and chopped vocal stabs. As the ivory tinkles the bass drops again and makes our world go round. On Rainbow Bended the Italoboyz and Blind Minded play games with our senses as they chop, stretch and stitch manic vocal samples into their strong, marching, kick-drum-driven groove. Alex Celler gets to grips with Rainbow Bended, turning in his stunning Glatte Redub. The skittish hats and pounding bassline roll throughout as its eerie cyborg-strings swoop. Spooky, hypnotic and powerful stuff.
