New label DINKED RECORDS will be focussing on digging up old soul/funk tunes which might not have been released on 7" vinyl before or are in need of a timely reissue. All tracks licensed and remastered for a fat sounding 45! First up we have Ike Turner´s "Funky Mule", an enormous break which was a fave amongst Drum & Bass producers like Goldie, 4 Hero etc. It originally appeared on Ike’s LP "A Black Man’s Soul" on Pompeii Records back in ´69 but amazingly never appeared on a 45 ….until now! On the flip side we are treated to some bonus beats and skipless loops by Canadian turntablist, DJ Nick Bike, who was this year’s Western CDN Red Bull Thre3style champ and is making big waves in the DJ world…limited copies!
