Heavy 1 from Tokyo represents Japan and is our first ever signing from the Samurais homeland. ‘Millers’ may be recognisable to many of you from its’s appearance on DJ Marky’s recent Fabric Live mix. This tunes distinctly quirky funk has been winning crowds over since it was first drawn and we are extremely proud to have it released on the Samurai label. Samurai fave Nymfo represents the Netherlands in a head to head drinking contest with Christchurch, New Zealands Menace. We are not sure who won the alcoholic battle but the colossal bassline that was created in the session delivers a funky bounce that is very infectious.
