Social Joy is a Sunday party with a residency in the London Fields Brewhouse, and a record label of the same name. AAUpcoming releases will embody the unpretentious, free-spirit sound of Social Joy! The first release is an EP from founder Guilhem Monin, which shows a development in the young producer's sound. AA Lead track Social Music features an infectious disco-sample which is an instant call to the dancefloor, whereas the second A-side I Plan To Stay A Believer, is a much deeper cut, with a hypnotic groove. AOn the flip is VLG, a collaboration with saxophonist Leonardo Milano de Cuba, which is jazzy and jaunty in equal measures.A Concluding this dancefloor-diverse EP, is the aquatic sounding People, which utilizes an insistent one-word vocal over a classic house bassline that punches through the track's message.
