Third release from the DEATH FROM ABROAD label, comes from two stalwarts of London’s exploding electro/rock/dance scene, duo Riton and Ben Fat Trucker aka Gucci Soundsystem. Gucci Soundsystem’s legendary London club night “Druzzis Baltimore Rave club” has been running for four years now and has included guests of the calibre of Tiefschwarz, James Murphy, Weatherall, Ivan Smagge, 2 many DJ’s, The Rapture, Erol Alkan and Optimo. After cementing their reputation with remixes for Tiefschwarz and Soulwax the boys became regulars at Fabric, Bugged Out and across Europe. Their debut solo release came out on the Bugged Out label last year to rave reviews. James Murphy, The LCD Soundsytem/DFA main man, liked it so much he decided to license it for a re-release on DFA records with a stunning Joakim remix on the B- Side. This means the list of labels the pair have released on will include DFA, Output, DJ Gigolo, Get Physical, City Rockers and Bugged Out, not a bad list and sure to grow.
