Greg Paulus is the wonder boy of the Wolf + Lamb camp, a trumpeter for Matthew Dears live band and one half of No Regular Play, his Nightime EP is another spellbinding collection of tracks, giving his slow and sultry take on house music and complimented with a special Crazy P remix. Title track Nightime beckons to come with meto the end of the night through a valley of bouncy low-end bass and 80s infused synths, as Paulus trumpet speaks to the heart and soul in a call to the nocturnal. Disco legends Crazy Ps remix of Nightime is hypnotising to the ngertips. Embracing the broody bass and elevating the track to anthemic levels, their creation unfolds with an air of mystery and captures the senses with sharp whispered calls and purring melodies. The slow and graceful Daisy Duke is t to seduce kings and queens, taking the tempo of soul and bringing a sway unknown before to house music. Featured on W+L vs Soul Claps forthcoming DJ Kicks compilation, Yellow Sky is a visionary pop record, set for glamour and pure enjoyment. Imitating the calls of hip-hop and the swagger of funk, its a grand illustration of why this group of artists has captured the imagination of the masses. The Wolf + Lamb collective continues to shake up the surface of house music. Together with Soul Clap, No regular Play, Deniz Kurtel, Nicolas Jaar, Slow Hands and a few select others, their ideology of irregular structure and rhythm and holistic inuences has created a following unmatched in recent times. Greg Paulus lives in their infamous Marcy Hotel in New York City. His studies in Cuba on Afro-Cuban rhythm, music and culture plus experience playing with Lauren Hill, and indie band Beirut have garnered an unfathomable talent for the dance music genre, tackling new dimensions on well throdden paths.
