Gmorozov debuts this monster Electro DnB EP on Beta Recordings after his successful initial foray on John B’s Nu Electro Label earlier in the year with his “internet=hate” EP. Again opting for a minimal electro & acid influenced style of DnB here with tracks “Acid #2” and “Generation=0” Gmorozov manages to forge forward with a new, distinctly Russian, aggressively synthetic sound, a little reminiscent of Camo & Krooked’s mighty remix of John B’s “Numbers”. Digital only tracks “Time of Our Lives” and “Pobeda” take a more trancey direction but still maintain that vibe of robotic driving energy, fitting confortably within the mould of dancefloor Drum & Bass, yet standing out clearly as something interesting and different too.
