What with gigs on buses and 'Ghost Thursdays' an online video project exhibitingtheir home-recorded 'Young Ghosts EP', singer/guitarist Jack Hardman and drummer Mike Benson have never been ones to bow to convention. *A pair whose brilliantly schizo-fi straddles the noise-enhanced boundary between emotionally driven pop and intensely pulsing beats, if the Young Ghosts project proved anything it's that Ghost Outfit are equallyprolific in writing catchy songs as they are generating teeth-grinding white-noise. *From overseeing artwork to directing videos, it’s their relentless DIY approach that makes Ghost Outfit somewhat kindred spirits with rising new Salford label SWAYS - already so revered it's been adopted by its neighbouring city, recently described as “Manchester’s most influential new independent label”.
