Funky Bijou is the combination of three music freaks who got together and produced a 7" on the french label Stereophonk. This record, produced by Marrrtin, Freshhh and Deheb, is a fine mix between samples and live instruments with a groovy flavor to it. "Funky bijou anthem", on the A side, is a frantic kind of bollywood breakbeat, a b-boy anthem in the making, that has already been played in international battles such as R16 in Corea and Unvsti Event in France. "Afro Boul", on the B side, combines an afrobeat groove with exotic melodies.
