Fumaça Preta are legendary DJ, NYC record store owner and vinyl archaeologist, Joel Stones, Amsterdam Record label and Cumbia supremo Alex Figueras, and Stuart Carter and James Porch, both from UK psychedelic fuzzfunk group, The Grits. The band formed as an experiment in an Amsterdam garage/studio last summer. The first release from the project, A Bruxa, set the standard. This releasetakes the psychedelic, funk, brazillian, turkish, moogy, fuzzyness even further. Following the Fumaça Preta tradition both sides of this 45 were written and recorded in one session!
