Newest signing and Brooklyn young gun, Fenbred (aka Benjamin Gardner), follows up his sizzling debut for the label (Get Enuff - an infectious edit of a 90’s anthem) with his sophomore 12” release, Pyramids, a brilliant dancefloor interpretation of the electro soul epic. The searing vocal harmonies by Detroit songster Jay Alexzander, are weaved into a hypnotic slice of hot New York house, as Fenbred takes us straight to the terrace for five glorious minutes of swinging cosmic vibes, nu-wave bleeps, whiplash drums and heavenly vocal loops. Climaxing in a glorious drop, we have ourselves a punchy peak time gem, perfect for sunrise or sunset. On the flip, Feel Something is a homage to vintage piano house and late 90’s UK garage, this euphoric workout of beefy, hybrid-house is strictly for the floor, as pitched up vocals pulse against a backdrop of heavyweight percussion and groovy vocal ticks.
