Ripperton’s wonderful Perspectiv imprint look to kick off their 2011 vinyl releases with the ‘’Bribe ‘em With Candy'’ EP. A debut on the label for German duo Motec and Daniel Gelbe under their production pseudonym, Eve White. Some exquisite house tracks on this ep. Lead track Sugarbabe with its velvety tones and chocolate coated Piano chords is the most delicious of starters. Backed brilliantly by its ‘timeless’ dub. Its the cymbals that initially stand out on Feel Better. The open Hats and Ride shimmer alongside the twinkling keys. Its unique vocal is underlain by an acid line thats contrast to the other elements, is the real key its success. Rounding out the EP is Anything Goes. With Piano’s being the instrument of choice for Eve White, its no surprise to find that the ivory rain-drops and warm throb of the Rhodes are key here. This really is the finest of sunset and sunrise territory. Bring on the summer!
