As DJ Spider promised in an interview with sister site Juno Plus, he's giving a great portion of his music that never made it to the vinyl-medium and re-release on wax, and Nemesis Rising is probably the body of work that is most deserved of this elevation. Like all of Spider's music, especially his albums, there's a (conceptual) message, a sometimes all-American message that says, "Wake up, here is the alarm, here is what humanity is doing to each other." By in large it's governments and corporate exploitation that makes his 101-basslines boil and kick drums punch in anger, but there's also a softer, melodic and house music-respected element to his work too - arguably best heard on this LP.
