It seems punters can�t get enough of these essential 4 track 12'?s, packed with underground house goodies from back in the day. Four classics go �Back In The Box�? on this disc� First up is the classic Derrick Carter remix of Markus Nikolai�s �Bushes�?, a track that was huge for Classic Records, and later for Southern Fried (thanks to a Norman Cook remix). Here though, Derrick Carter lays down a groovelicious, shuffling, Summery remix of this great vocal cut. Fellow Chi-town house legend, Paul Johnson, is next up, with the infectious, warped, filtered disco loops of �Hit It Up�?. On the flip, a stone cold DJ Sneak classic, the 1997 Danny D remix of The Brand New Heavies �Shelter�?. A great groovy, percussive mix, with a wicked vocal and some funky parping brass! The fourth cut here on this essential 12�? comes from Deepah Ones AKA Karizma and DJ Spen, two producers with massive house credentials, and here, they combined in 1999 for the deep and uplifting soulful bomb!
