His music has appeared in films as varied as Scratch, Coachella: The Movie, and Rock The Bells: The Documentary, his DJ set interpretations of children's toys have won widespread renown around the world, and he has produced tracks and remixes for Nas, Damian Marley, and The Lonely Island, among others. Hot on the heels of his 2012 production album debut Broken Sunlight, (A track-by-track catalogue of his many influences and innovations) Uncle Nu shows no signs of slowing down. "In the next two months I plan on releasing two very special and requested 45's from my Broken Sunlight album. The first will be a re-edit of "Our Generation" by Ernie Hines taken from the original 1974 multi-track recording. I made a special unreleased "Cali Mix" for this 45 only! This will be available on 11/19. You might recognize this soul classic from Pete Rock & CL Smooth's "Straighten It Out". Following that I plan on releasing a re-mastered and mixed version of “Oya' Indebure'” featuring Laudir de Oliveira. This is an uptempo Brazilian banger that never fails the clubs. This will be backed by "Tough Break" which is a high powered dirty Funk track. "Tough Break" was recently featured in the motion picture Battle Of The Year a movie about American B-Boys on a mission to win the world B-Boy championship."
