Dizzee Rascal’s fourth album 'Tongue N' Cheek', features the huge uk number one singles 'Dance Wiv Me' and 'Bonkers' and the soon-to-be-massive 'Holiday'.
2009 has been quite a year for Dizzee Rascal - he has scored two number one singles, each being released on his own, independent label Dirtee Stank, not to mention appearances on Newsnight where he went head-to-head with Jeremy Paxman and one of his most candid interviews ever on the Jonathan Ross show.
'Tongue N' Cheek' is undoubtedly the most upbeat album Dizzee has ever made whilst still retaining that lyrical sharpness that underlines his records. As well as the three singles it features 'Road Rage', a thumping house track and forthcoming single 'Dirtee Cash' which features a sample of the classic Stevie V tune. Shy FX, who collaborated with Dizzee on 'Maths & English', adds production duties to the carnival-esque, summertime anthem of 'Can't Tek No More' and trance superstar Tiesto has provided the beats to 'Bad Behaviour', but it's 'Chillin' Wiv Da Man Dem' which is Dizzee's biggest departure to date - a classic, smooth-sounding R'n'B tune reminiscent of Tupac or Snoop Dog.
