It is likely that some of you are already familiar with DeRobert & the Half Truths. After releasing some 45RPM singles on their own G.E.D. Soul Records label they finally released a full length album entitled “Soul In A Digital World”. Sad but true, it has been released on Compact Disc only. Real DJs never had the chance to play out songs from that album. That was the main reason why we decided to put out two of the best tracks on vinyl. Take Me Out Of The Dark is a deep-funk belter with an unusual drum pattern. Don't worry, it works wonders on the dance floor. The flip side titled The Joy shows their other, soulful side.
