Deetron aka Sam Geiser dropped ‘Twisted’ on Belgium’s esteemed Music Man imprint in 2006. Now firmly on people’s radar after such smashes as ‘The Afterlife’, ‘Life Soundtrack’ his remix of Gel Abril’s ‘Your Face Is A Mess’ and the massively popular ‘I Cling’…. the man really can do no wrong. ‘Lets Get Over It’ is a gloriously soulful techno masterpiece. Deetron’s early Detroit and Chicago influences are evident in the music. Tough and groovy with some warped synth action, that weaves its way around the lush, warm vocal’s of Justin. Not only do you have the great original, but Music Man have produced an embarrassment of riches for you, with three huge remixes. First up is the genius that is Innervisions and K7 artist Henrik Schwarz. Here Schwarz delivers an electro-acoustic flavour that, together with Justin’s vocals and some sultry strings is extra extra special. Second is F-Communications artist Llorca who delivers yet another completely different yet equally as stunning take on the original. Beautiful string laden intro builds the suspense. Add some percussion, a timbale and just wait for the bassline to drop. This is sick! A simply unbelievable package, that crosses so many musical borders, and one that will see this release getting smashed all over the summer.
