Porn Wax makes a welcome return with more of that devilish deviant acid behaviour, splattered on a trademark hot pink 10" to let everyone know they mean business. Dawn Again takes the reins on the A-side with a fearsome beast known as "Acid Soup". It's an appropriate name, all sloppy drum lines and excessive FX to push the crowd to higher levels of psychedelic rave abandon. Rothmans' "Daffodil" on the flip is a more melodic affair, but no less intense in its straining arpeggios and dramatic synth breakdowns. With very different end results, both sides of this 12" champion the grubby, outboard approach to production as a means of attracting the freaks to the dancefloor.
