Debuting on Kompakt with a masterfully twisted remix of Gui Boratto's "Take Control" (KOMPAKT 302) in 2014, Miami-based DJ/Producer DANNY DAZE had already made himself a name with outings on tastemaking labels like Ultramajic Miami's very own Omnidisc, Cómeme or Phantasy - but it was the raw and muscular SPEICHER 80 that really opened up our receptors. Danny's recipe for bendy, electro-infused techno turned out to be insanely catchy and ripe with bass, a bold, futuristic and funky vision for the dancing floor that finds a brilliant follow-up in his latest outing: two new exercises in off-the-cuff mayhem grace SPEICHER 91, with face-melting uber-jam SWIM kicking off a weird and wonderful parade of synth riffs, belting beats and pure arpeggio anarchy - while the flipside is held hostage by the razor-sharp, robotic funk of MACHINE, Danny's second collaboration with TRANSLUCENT for Speicher after the hard-hitting "Speaker Language" (KOMPAKT EXTRA 80).
