WIR resident Daniel Mehlhart reports back with his customary brand of compelling sound synthesis and frenetically grooving beat patterns. The main track “Deep Crazy Synth” spins its way through to the top of the mountain, keeping the peak in view, sporting full-blown mood and delivering one hell of a show on the center stage. And when it’s not making out on the dance floor, this track’s having a good time at the bar, listening to the newest gossip and featuring an open ear for every dancer’s needs and worries. Minilogue seem to like that kind of attitude, so they treat the original like a good friend and give it the love it deserves. Their “Dismantling The Storm” remix includes chilled soulfulness as well as some truly psychoactive vibes and makes this EP a real winner.
