The pop year 2022 was marked by new Latin sounds from South America with artists like Rosalia, Bad Bunny or Lucrecia Dault. Now the probably first Latin bass album from Berlin is released: "Sonido Lava" by Daniel Haaksman. With his fourth album (Spanish: "Lava Sound"), Berlin-based Tropical Bass and Baile Funk pioneer Daniel Haaksman reflects on volcanoes and magma as symbols of our rollercoaster times. Musically, "Sonido Lava" is a bubbling, red-hot mix of pan-Latin sounds ranging from Caribbean dembow rhythms to Brazilian guitarada surf sounds, rasteirinha beats from Rio de Janeiro to transglobal rumbas and salsa rave bombs, and features guest artists such as Çantamarta (ES), Felipe Cordeiro (BR), Los Bulldozer (CO) and Malagüera (CHI, Berlin)
