If Damian Lazarus has done nothing else with this album other than raising the status quo for top jocks who have the desire to bring out an artists album, then he has triumphed. Convincingly. 'Neverending' is the second single preceding his album, Smoke The Monster Out, the first being the well received and critically acclaimed, ‘Moment’. Although 'Neverending' is lush with uplifting rhythms and euphoric tones, the vocals tell a story of a broken heart that should try to put it all behind and learn to love again. A story often told and experienced by many, but perhaps never on such a platform with Damian's vocals resonating long after that star that he sings of, shines bright again. M.A.N.D.Y. team up with the Parisian wonder Alexkid to tech out the mix while adding some minimal funk flavor. Achieved through lightly pumping beats and filtering snippets of Damian's vocals. A quality sun-rising anthem that is perfectly suitable for that one last dance. Canadian New Yorker Brennan Green adds his distinct flavor of loose disco style beats, while adding a space and room that makes this mix sound wider than the Grand Canyon. ..
