After spending two years touring, Dafuniks is bringing back their brand of cool hip-hop soul groove with a new album-release. Featured on the album are internationally well respected and artistically proven names such as: Afrika Baby Bam (of Jungle Brothers), A State Of Mind, Elias, Mattic, Barbara Moleko, Blacc El and many more. Dafuniks has had tremendous success with their previous releases, including airplay on radio stations in Europe, particularly in France and Denmark. The US/Canadian-market is also opening up for Dafuniks. They recently fi nished their first collaboration with Lionsgate Films, placing music in the Hollywood movie “Addicted”, based on the topselling novel by Zane. As a live band, Dafuniks has earned a great deal of respect for their ability to create an unique interplay, by combining samples, breakbeats and live instruments into a fantastic live experience. As a result Dafuniks has, besides headlining a number of shows, had the chance to support several big foreign names such as American soulsinger Bilal, and hip-hop heavyweights De La Soul, MF Doom, EL-P, and Pete Rock. The first single release from the album will be the song “The Dance”, which will make you groove with an undeniable hook-line and a great summer-vibe.
