We've made a trip to Trinidad and we're back with two massives instrumentals from Cyril X. Diaz & His Orchestra. "Tabu" (also recorded as Tabou, Tabú, and Taboo) is a popular cuban music standard covered many times since 1934. "Tabu" and "Serenal" were recorded by Emory Cook in november 1957. Both versions by alto and tenor sax player Cyril X. Diaz appeared on Las' Lap LP released in 1958. "Tabu" probably inspired jamaican version "Africa" by The Gaylads.
