We are excited to be unveiling a return to physical releases from highly successful Glasgow based imprint Flatpack Traxx. Featuring four killer original tracks from Craig Hamilton who has graced some of the undergrounds finest labels including Robsoul Recordings and Tango this will be released on both vinyl and digital formats to kick- start's the label's 2015 schedule and new direction. Opening up with the 4 track EP with 'Transponder' which delivers crisp percussion, classic house vocal cuts, groove laden drums and a sweet sub-laden bassline from the accomplished DJ & Producer. Continuing with 'Phonology' which is full of attitude from the off, sharp sounding riding hats nice breaks and punchy drums, but it's the wonky melodies and funky bass that make this stand out from the crowd, sure to win over any crown at warm up or peak time. 'Rouge State' a collaboration with Lloyd Kenny brings up the all important B-Side's peppered with funk and shoulder shaking bass it's full of atmosphere and groove. Finally the last cut on the record 'The Vow' providing a perfect DJ tool and mood changer, skippy hats and a riding 303 acid rhythm has all the hallmarks of a classic party starter. Flatpack Traxx is run by Craig Hamilton, who has a unrivalled passion for quality underground house music. The aim was simple to push new artists onto the scene & help develop the genre, pushing it in the right direction. From this the label has grown into one of the scenes respected outlets for upfront underground house music.
