Confusional Quartet is one of the most recognized italian bands in the so-called new wave era, a period ranging from the late seventies to the mid-eighties. Formed in 1978, they had quite enthusiastic consent during their activity, playing a mixture of instrumental, avant-garde, experimental rock. In 2011 Confusional Quartet has been reformed. Lucio Ardito, Marco Bertoni, Gianni Cuoghi and Enrico Serotti, the four original members, are back together with all new material, still difficult to categorize. For who was there at the time, and for the younger as well, a chance to realize what can happen by playing music in a provoking and free way. Two new albums on the go, a new live set.
