Cluekid's productions have always been super tight on-point affairs, both solo on his own Bullfrog imprint and in tandem with Cotti, ruining many a dancehall, as well as fulfilling coveted invitation at the scene leading spots - DMZ for instance. And so it comes as no surprise to find his debut 12" for the Subsonik label featuring two new cuts, brimming with fresh baked dubstep styles and revealing a deep love for the foundation moves of classic jungle. A side 'Original Tearout' comes correct with heavenly rave synth pads and pitched-up vocal chops, like a total lost original junglist anthem - fans of early Juice Box era Gerald and M-Beat won't be disappointed. B side 'Shatner Chop' brings an equally authentic cut of freshly minted, gangsta-stylin' dubstep - already big with Caspa and all dub constabulary, another great 12" from manchester's very own Subsonik stable, growing in stature and confidence with every release. And with label head Subsonik the preferred host for the great and the good in the scene - this will be quite simply their
biggest twelve to date.
