Chicago veterans Justin Long and Ken Zawacki debut their Circling Vultures project on L.I.E.S. with three tracks of jackin' mid-Western techno. The duo sucessfully harness their influences from Medusa's and the warehouse techno scene of the 90s to create a beating high octane ep full of metallic synths and contorted rhythms somewhere along the lines of DJAX meets Dan Bell meets Relief Records. Sure to be in all the bags this summer, this will not be the last you hear of this pair.
