Here we go with the launch of MB Disco’s sub label. It’s a vinyl only label which will release all kind of edits from the coolest people all around the globe. We keep the family name MB and add EDITS, so, MB EDITS is the name. First out is an edit of Chris Rea’s Josephine. This Balearic classic hasn’t been done too many times so we thought, let’s do it. The two edits comes from Chris Coco and Dalminjo and both of them follow in the footstep of Todd Terje’s edit of On The Beach. So expect two mixes which hasn’t destryoed the original feeling of Rea’s versions. Chris Coco probably won’t need any deeper presentation. We all know him from his diverse production skills where he goes from one genre to another, and always with a splendid result. What really caught our attention was his recent Disco stuff he done on labels like Nang. Norwegian Dalminjo been around for over a decade now with his trade mark Soulful/Jazzy House on labels like Deeplay Music , Papa and Look At You.
