Young French singer Caroline Lacaze, who debuted on the Mighty Mocambos' album "The Future is Here" now steps further into the spotlight with an adventurous new 45 of her own. Caroline joined the Mocambo team in 2011, and became a regular feature on the Mighty Mocambos tour throughout Europe, including support gigs for Lee Fields in Amersterdam & London. She made her UK radio debut with a live performance on BBC 6 at the Craig Charles Funk & Soul Show. 'L'Étrange' effortlessly blends raw soul with captivating French vocals, heavy funk drums and a mystic psychedelic vibe. Features an extended instrumental performed by the Mocambo Electric Sound Orchestra on the flip side. The 45 will be followed by a full-length album in spring 2013.
