Side A, ‘Tramp’ was first released on the highly collectable Rock Steady Hits of 69 LP - the very first Reggae album to be released on a major label - and is credited to Brother Lloyd’s All Stars. This funky instrumental cut claims back Otis Redding’s Tramp from The Mohowks, who scored a world-wide smash with this soulful ska classic under the title The Champ. This version pulls no punches, with powerful drums and chunky Hammond all the way. Side B, ‘Bouncing Around’ continues the funky dancefloor Reggae theme, with Jumbo Sterlings All Stars turning out more groovy skank on Bouncing Around. First released on the cult Marble Arch album Reggae Party in 1970, it skillfully blends the Reggae sound with funky Hammond.
